The Elements of Style (4th Edition)
The New York Times is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Strunk and White with a debate about ‘the little book’. I am not really in a position to contribute to that debate because even though I have had a passing acquaintance with the little book for some time, I only just recently began to study it so familiarity is yet to breed contempt. I am in awe, like a rookie at the feet of 5 Star Generals.
